As the art fair season winds down here in Northern New York, I'm looking forward to trying out new avenues in photography. I decided to blog about these adventures. Click here to visit the new Foothills Photography blog.

I am drawn to everyday things that are often overlooked, and to the details hidden within them. I find myself searching out simple patterns, colors, and compositions. I suppose this is a way for me to make sense of the world's complexities.

There is much beauty all around us -- beauty that we often miss as we hurry off to take trips to exotic places.
